Accuse and abuse

Hold her down, as you spread her around. Snatch it from her. Deflower virgins for the privileged ones.

Expect,
An elaborate depiction,
Of maternal incest,
For a giddy evening,
Should not be blandly left.

Paint the picture,
And then, pervert it well.
Really, what good is an abuse
If not aimed below her belt?

Accept,
The just Jirga has finally said,
For an honour to be reclaimed,
Residential access of it,
Must be gained.

Hold her down, as you spread her around,
Snatch it from, where it used to belong.
Really, what good is an accusation,
Without some perks,
Deflowering virgins,
For the privileged ones?

Tabisch Algernon Aliem | 10 years ago | Reply I think, “residential access of an honour” is a delightfully sarcastic way to tell of the situation most females are found to be tied up with. The confines of domesticity, and denoting a woman’s status by that domesticity alone, and the conviction in men to “salvage that status”; the gaining of residential access to that salvaging.. “…what good is an accusation, Without some perks, Deflowering virgins…”, reading this I can’t help thinking the “virgins” here are not women, but remarks which someone hasn’t yet flung at a woman inside a “residential space”, remarks that are bound to “appropriate her denigration”. So add the “perks” to the accusation and go where one hasn’t gone before in the way of accusing.
